Centerview Superday Deal Discussion Drill: 30 Minutes
Use this free spoken-practice plan before a Centerview first round or Superday. It is a practice structure, not a prediction of what any interviewer will ask.
The drill
- 5 minutes - transaction summary. State the buyer, target, consideration, strategic logic, and status in plain language.
- 7 minutes - valuation. Explain the valuation methods you would use and what could widen or narrow the range.
- 6 minutes - buyer perspective. Name the most important synergy, integration risk, and financing consideration.
- 6 minutes - target perspective. Explain the board and shareholder tradeoffs, including alternatives to the deal.
- 6 minutes - repeat. Answer the full deal question again in 90 seconds with a clear recommendation and one caveat.
