Use the round labels

Start with the round on your calendar

Rothschild interviews vary by office, group, role and cycle. This workbook preserves the round label attached to each source prompt. Use the labels that appear in your copy, and treat Unspecified as unknown rather than guessed.

01

Screen and first round

Filter to Phone Screen, HireVue, Screening, or First Round when those labels are there. Keep the basics clean and your personal answers short.

02

Later rounds and Superday

For later rounds, filter to Superday or the later-round labels that are there. Spend more time on follow-ups and the technical why.

03

Group and topic cuts

Filter by group and topic. Practice the part of the process you are walking into.

Try it first

Try the same drill before you buy

These are representative prompt types, not a claim that every interview follows one script. The paid workbook contains all 63 source prompts and its exact answer-type mix.

Sample 01

Pick a round

Choose a round and answer before you look.

Do this

Hide the answer, say yours out loud, then check it.

Sample 02

Work a technical

Work the accounting, valuation, M&A, restructuring, or market logic out loud.

What you get

Technical questions get the math or reasoning. Open questions get a way to build your own answer.

Sample 03

Build your own story

Use your own experience. There is no fake script to memorize.

Why

Your answer has to be true. Use the prompt to build your own story.
